    After reading the comments I am having second thoughts about upgrading my 1800E I have 2 and updated 1 with the first beta release with the 2 files. I am intrigued by the reply to the comment above. @Justin - Where in Canada do we send our boxes for the 5.1 upgrade and what is the cost?

    I am ready to do this install on my 1800e. Can someone post the correct firmware file as a reply to this post? It would be greatly appreciated.

    I understand, and I thank you for your efforts Justin. This reminds me of another situation I am in with my Eye-fi SD card. For those that don't know what they are. They are SD cards with wifi radios in them them so when you take pictures they transfer via wifi to a smart phone and then I back them up in Google photos. But About 6 months ago the company decided to stop sending updates for the some models and basically turned them into just regular SD cards as they do not function without the newer updates. In doing so they lost my business. And I moved to another company that does the same thing. This is not the case here as MyGica has offered options for the older boxes with the Kodi fork 17.0 and has made an effort to update the boxes that they believe can handle 5.1. In doing so, they have ensured that I will go back to them again when it is time to upgrade my android box. So, I will continue to hope for a patch file for for this new firmware, and thank the people that work on it for me, because as you can see above, it doesn't happen like this all the time. Thanks again Justin (and team)

    Installed new firmware on one 1800e and had no issues except for the standby issue. Installed Kodi for on my 1800e with 4.4 still installed and could not restore kodi. So after updating the 1800e with the new firmware, I backed kodi 17.1 up and restored it on the 1800e with 4.4 in the kodi fork. It worked.

    Installed the kodi 17 forked version on my 1800e with 4.4 and after doing a restore none of my addons show up. Can anyone help me here?

    OK , I have 2 1800E's. I am going to update 1 to 5.1, but I want to confirm which update should I use... This one --> 1900_factory_restore.rar Or this one ---> update_Mygica_ATV1900AC_5.1_NoNetflixHD_20161121.img On my main 1800E, I will be installing this ---> mygicaMediaCenter20170310.apk, the MyGica Kodi 17 fork. Is there an update to the fork to 17.1? I will let everyone know how it went when I get some answers to this post. Thanks

    Thank you for your quick reply Justin. Much appreciated. In essence from what I gather, you want to be able to release 1 update that will fix the standby issue for the 1800E while not affecting anything for the 1900AC. Thank you for the update and all the hard work. I look forward to seeing something soon. Just an FYI, I have 2 1800E's and live in Ontario if you need a guinea pig. Thanks again.

    Another question I have. Does a backup of Kodi 16.1 restore on Kodi 17? I have done this in the past but the Kodi version never had such a drastic difference to them.
