    I understand that it is very important I will reach out to our guys about this myself Please note ZXL moderates these sections because he is more familiar with these products. The PAD TV is not even sold in North America by us, so therefore it is very hard for myself to support it.

    KODI changed video players on Kodi 17+ Before Kodi 16 and below used our modified Video Player from AMlogic on Android 4.4 and below Now Kodi requires everyone to use the Google Media Player codec on Android 5+ and KODI 17+

    Try unplugging the devices power and plug it back in to do a reboot. It should pair after this.

    Does the Android robot show up on the screen within a minute or so after you held the reset button for 15 seconds once you powered the box on? If so, does it go to the recovery screen after this?

    1800e does not Hardware decode H.265 That is why it doesn't work properly for you.

    This will not wipe You can just load it from a USB drive or SD card using the "Upgrade" app that is pre installed on all boxes.

    1. Hope to have it switched to on demand with next release 2. This was addressed in a previous post. This has to be supported by the Launcher developer themselves, we cannot do anything for this as were not the developer for launchers like Nova, C-Launcher etc. 3. This issue is resolved just from setting the screensaver setting of Android to "Never". We can play Videos from Kodi for hours and hours on our boxes at the office and cannot reproduce this issue. 4. Will try to get this added, but cannot promise.

    I am using Win Rar Can open it and extract it without issues. Sorry I have never used 7 zip before.

    I attached a picture of the files you are supposed to extract from the Zip folder to your SD card. These are the ones your extracted from the zip folder and moved to your SD card? You simply just extract the files to your desktop then just drag and drop them to the SD card. I am not sure why you are getting cannot mount, disc file is corrupt. When I searched this on google, it just came back with issues on Windows itself.

    This will only work on an SD Card, not a USB stick I responded to your other post on a different thread about this as well. The How to Video explains how to do this from beginning to end.

    Yes this seems to be a major issue on Kodi 17.1 for IR Remotes on preety much any device out there. Thanks for sharing a way to fix this.

    What is meant by root of the SD card, is extracting all of the files from the Zip folder And then putting them onto the root of the SD card, which means not in any sub folders. And to have only those files on the SD card and nothing else. Windows does not recognize IMG as a file, so that is why you are getting the can't mount and disc image file is corrupt. The How to Video shows exactly what to do from beginning to end.

    Did you copy all of the files to the root of the SD card? Is the SD card formatted to FAT32? If so, when you hold down the reset button for 15+ secs, do the lights on the front of the unit flash between red and green?

    This is a big issue with how Kodi did their remote functions on the KODI 17.1 update. This is happening for preety much any box that is using an IR Remote. You need to manually set the buttons within KODI using their Remote Configure Add on.

    When using these 7 files, you must use the reset button in order to activate these files and allow them to be installed onto your box. Do the lights flash from green to red when using these files and the reset button?

    I also agree you have the right to complain. You are not satisfied with your purchase. I have read through everything from everyone and will try to get the Core Issue + Mac address issue resolved. The standby issue on 1800, I still don't have a solution for it. I touched on this already in a previous post within this thread. Please keep in mind, the 1800 uses the Amlogic S802 chipset. We are one of the only box makers that have provided an OS update of Android 5.1 for this chipset, AMLogic themselves do not even have 5.1 available for the S802 The reason I say this, is because maintaining a version of Android on your own is not an easy task. If this thread continues with just people bashing each other, I will have to close it

If you set it to "Never" then it wont come on. 4. Sorry I assumed the 5.1 on 495P was very similar to 5.1 on 1800/1900AC. After checking I see it is not there either. 5. Ok
