Pressing Record Button: red led keeps off and no video rec

Hi,

I just bought the HD Cap X Standalone and I tried the following configurations:

PS4->hdmi->hdcapx->hdmi->TV with pendrive 32GB fat32

PS4->hdmi->hdcapx->hdmi->TV with pendrive 32GB xfat

PS4->hdmi->hdcapx->hdmi->TV with pendrive 8GB fat32

PS3->hdmi->hdcapx->hdmi->TV with pendrive 32GB fat32

PS3->hdmi->hdcapx->hdmi->TV with pendrive 32GB xfat

tvsignatureservice->cvbs->hdcapx->hdmi->TV with pendrive 8GB fat32 * no signal on TV

and doing a long press on record button (even a touch) didn't activate the record system. The red led is off and no video record.

What I'm doing wrong?

here are some things i want you to try,

1. make sure SD card is on FAT32 and around 8 to 16GIG space

2. connect via HDMI only

3. Settings on PS4 must be on 1080P no less ** blue light for 1080P should show up

4. Press record and do not hold it

you see the red light for recording should come on

once recording is done, just press the record button again

Thanks for the tips.

Well, I thinnk the reason to do not record on ps3 and ps4 was the HDCP. I tested against my notebook and worked perfectly.

Then I found and disabled the HDCP on ps4 settings and worked like a charm! I tried again with my PS3 without success. I will try using the component cable.

It's a great product. I want to do some videos for youtube and I believe that will work!
