viewing an rtsp camera stream locks up 1800

Recommended Posts

I just bought an 1800 quad core. I'm quite impressed with it. It has the march 25. build installed out of the box.

The main reason I wanted it is 1 because it runs 4.4 and 2 because of kodi.

I make strm files with rtsp links to my security cameras. What I see is after 2 hours or so of viewing one stream the video locks up. But I still hear sound?

Stopping and restarting the stream gets it's going again.

Is this part of some of the same bugs I have read about in the latest build?

I also want to ask if there is a way to have the system open kodi as soon as it boots?

Thanks

Allan

Which Video Player app are you using to view these RTSP links?

Not sure which bugs you are referring to with this build?

If you want to auto start you can try this app from the Play Store

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... tart&hl=en

There should be a list of similar apps as well listed there when you look. So there should be a few options you can try.
