Power on/off issues

Recommended Posts

Hello:

Forgive me if i have interrupted a protocol but i am new to these forums.

I have 2 MyGica box's. A 1800 and a 1200. No problems at all with the 1800,

However the 1200 powers on and off by its self from the off position and occasionally will get stuck in the on position and requires me to disconnect the power for a few seconds and then once the home page is up i can go through the shut down process . Once it is off it is fine for awhile then it starts powering on/off again over and over.

I contacted MG support but they were not much help.

Any ideas come to mind?, any help would be appreciated

Thanks

iMac

This is common with this unit with the current version of firmware. See these threads for more details....

If you don't like seeing it turn on and off all the time when not in use, you could just power it down by holding in the power button on the front of the unit for a few seconds and then power it up again pressing the same button when you want to turn it on.

Good Morning FBN:

Thanks for the tip. I have no problem turning it off when not in use.

Perhaps in the future MG will address this issue in a software update if possible

Has anyone had a problem with the KR34 ir remote?

Completely ceasing to function. It will turn the 1200 on, but thats all.

It will not function in any capacity at all. Not even to turn it off (stand by).

Thanks iMac...
