AT582 Remote Control - how to charge?

I just bought the AT582 box and everything is great. I'm confused with the remote control though. There's nothing in the user documentation. Is it battery operated? How do you change batteries or charge this thing? I don't see any obvious way inside it.

-battery change and short circuit

- Pair remote
