Running 4.1.2 want to Update to 4.2.2?

Recommended Posts

Ok I'm currently running ATV1200 4.1.2 on my box.

I downloaded the two files

1:- update_spi_mx_20130805.img

and

2 :- update_MYGICA_ATV1200_20131102.img

I installed via upgrade screen file 1 which took my thru install and then back to upgraded screen to

Install file 2.

All went well and ended up with the following (see attachment below) :-

All great so far.

Now I would like to update to

Android 4.2.2 and the very latest (best) version of XBMC for ATV1200

I have ordered a new KR60 remote from China hopefully here in the next 3 weeks (because I prefer it to the KR34).

Can you please point me in the right direction for the downloads I need and the order and correct method to install them,

e.g. from a rear reset button use or from the upgrade screen.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Andy :D

This will get you from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2

viewtopic.php?f=77&t=1945

And then manually upgrade to these so you get KODI on the Launcher

viewtopic.php?f=77&t=2520 - KR 34 Remote

or

viewtopic.php?f=77&t=2491 - KR60 Remote

Thanks for the info Justin

Going to download the required files that you have pointed me to,

cant do anything yet as I have not received the KR60 remote (about 3 weeks)

unless I can install the KR34 version and then update to KR60 version when I have received it.

Thanks for help

Andy :)
