Google process stopped

Getting the message "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped"...how to get rid of this message? Why does this happen anyway and how not to get this in the future?

Could you kindly advise what I should do next time this happens?

1. You can keep pressing ok and ignore it

2. Login to the google play store to let Google Play Services take an update.

3. Or factory reset the box.
