bkwashby 11 Report post Posted February 13, 2016 I am running Kodi 15.2 and the latest official firmware on my 1800e but I've noticed this problem with every version of both Kodi and firmware. I have the "keep audio device alive" setting set to always but if there is a dead or silent spot in the sound in the playback of a mp4 movie file my receiver stops detecting the audio signal and when sound or talking resumes in the playback it will miss the first second or two before my receiver detects the audio signal again. Why is Kodi or my 1800e killing the audio signal when the setting is set to keep it active always? Is this a My Gica Firmware issue that can be fixed or is this a Kodi software problem and can it be fixed?

etchings13 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2016 Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same problem - the biggest culprit is South Park where there are often completely silent moments.
MyGica Support 49 Report post Posted December 14, 2016 Sorry guys, Not sure how this got burried way back then, but this is something I havent seen before. I feel it has to be related to the audio output in the settings? Do you have the latest 1800e fw?
