I tried with two different USB drives and two different SD cards. I got the same result. 
Also I got an email from one of your support teams:

The Version of ATV380 you have can not handle OS 5.1 as per the board and CPU built inside, you have the earlier version of ATV380. do not load OS 5.1 you can brick your box.

hi justin is there a reason after upgrading to lollipop box gets stock on my gica screen and stay there will not get further

i had to revert back to kitkat
