STB for QAM Modulated signal

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, we own HDMI Modulator, it outputs QAM 128/256 (DVB-C) signal and IPTV(rtp/udp multicast), for testing purposes we need to convert it Back to HDMI, sorry am not quite familiar with mygica products, which STB is preferrable for QAM or IPTV inputs as the output I would like HDMI. Thank you in advance!

Sorry just want to confirm this.

You are creating your own DVB-C Signal and need a STB to decode it via a TV Tuner then shoot it back out through the HDMI to the TV?

Or it will be done through the IPTV(rtp/udp multicast) so using the STB just to decode it via the IPTV stream over the internet??

May I know if your DVB-C/QAM Signal will be protected by DRM such as Pro:idum, verimatrix??

Or will this be Clear QAM??

Let me know thanks

Then I can assist further.
