Kr41 remote and atv495

Good day

I just bought a atv 495 which came with a kr41 remote. The button work but the air mouse does not. 

I tried to pair using the procedure found on this site, but the light does not stop flashing.

Please assist.

If you have a 495 PRO, then the KR41 Remote that comes with it, is not an Air Mouse remote.
That would explain why the Air Mouse part is not working.

So would an KR41 Airmouse edition work on the atv495PRO?

Alternatively, is there a way to swipe (like on a touch screen) with the non-air edition?

Netflix has many menus that require touch-like swiping that I am struggling with.

Yes a KR 41 Air Mouse edition would work on the 495 PRO.

 

You can also use a USB computer mouse as well if you like.

It doesn't look like the air edition is available separately for purchase (at least not here).
