mygica ATV582 not turning on

Hi gents

         I'm new to MyGica  and have ran into a problem. I was given a box to repair but, when I plug in the  power adapter. the led light stays solid green but when connected to ATV582 the light flashes and I have no power to the box. Is there a solution to this. they told me it was working last night, all they did was unplug the power adapter and brought it to me. Please help if I'm doing something wrong.
