ATV 1200 Dual Core 2014 WIFI issue please HELP

Hello,

Please I really need help my gica box will refuse to connect to wifi i have to reset my modem every 2 hours and it is very frustrating, so i had exchanged my box and still having this issue, i am running latest android 4.2.2. It cannot be my wireless connection because it is running well on other devices at home (laptops, android tablets, smartphones,etc), it is showing as saved,secured but doesn't connect, any help would be awesome, thank you for your support

I have seen this before on a few units

It seems it happens when peoples wifi routers are setup using Channel 8 or higher on there settings

Check the configuration of your router for this.

Ok do I have to change it to a different wireless channel and I'm not using a secondary router I just have the rogers advanced wifi modem, sorry I'm not to good with tech stuff, appreciate the help
