On the off chance.. reviving an 1800

So my 1800E's wifi stopped working a year ago (the os won't let me turn it on anymore). No really a problem because I was using a wired connection anyway.

Saturday, we lost power (thanks Dorian) and when it came back on Monday, I found the wired connection no longer works. 

I tried the same things I did with wifi to no avail (factory reset, re-flashing os - the 1900 one). I ordered a new 495 but wonder if you had a suggestion for reviving this one?
