Legacy "Video Grabber for Mac" unit, serial not working in iGrabber

Hi there! I've emailed support but have not gotten a response so I'm trying here.

 

I got a new computer but have the old USB2.0 Video Grabber for Mac that used to work great on my old dead laptop.  I tried entering the serial from it (201008140017) into the iGrabber client I downloaded and it won't work! I can only fire up the demo.

 

 

Any chance someone can help me please? I saw on other threads that there was some sort of serial number format translation that needs to happen somewhere but I can't find the source.
