As a Kodi user for the past 5 years starting with an MBOX and upgrading to a couple of mygica (Kit Kat & Marshmallow), both of which still provide great Kodi experience including Netflix as a separate paid service. Most Kit Kit android devices were inoperable for Kodi after the Jarvis release but mygica came through for me with online support and a download for the upgrade. I would encourage op to use all available resources including contacting Netflix support. Reviewing some comments on this forum it appears that mygica end users or the forum mods are not providing adequate information. I enjoy viewing the content provided by streaming services, but I also consider this as a hobby.
