  1. Lovely, so my father is having more difficulties in using this box. Netflix app is broken, I can't even access google play to try and upgrade netflix due to GP being broken too. Xbmc is a hit and miss when turning off device and back on. Movies still dropping frames. Just can't win with this streamer. Give me a nuc any day.

    we have tonz and thousands of Mygica boxes sold none of them have named Streamer + if you are having issue with the box so much we do have warranty for a reason, you can create a ticket send the box to us and we can check see what's the problem and fix it

    One more thing.. make sure its Mygica Box and on next post please bring in the model ID that way we know how to fix the issue before you blame everything

    Well, perhaps you should stop selling this piece of crap and fix the software first!

    The way MyGica managed to screw android is spectacular.

    I'm sick and tired listening for excuses.

    Sadly I sold many of these but since January I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

    The only decent guy who represented MyGica well was/is? Justin.

    You should pay him in gold!


  2. @lifeisfun - that is strange indeed. Hopefully Justin knows what's going on ...

    Had November on mine, signed into Google play to make sure I can, and then upgraded to March 31st.

    Can't be the reset that did it because how are you supposed to prep for customers if you are inclined to do so.

    It actually is the reset. install firmware 1105, log into Google Play, upgrade to latest firmware without resetting and Google Play Store should be find. You may have to manually install Kodi and uninstall XBMC.

    Kodi did install just fine on both only Play store won't sync.

    Point is that I can't believe all these problems are present on "new upgrade"

    Hard to believe that fully working Lollipop will be ever available.

    Updated 2 boxes just for the fun of it, both same problems

    Black s screen on 1080/60

    Play store will sign in but will not sync and give error to check connection.

    Network connection tested and working fine.

    Is it just me or this is going down hill ? :(

    Did you have the November firmware on prior to upgrading? If you update from Feb GMS beta your Google Play will have issues. This is the only work around that I know of for now.

    November on all I have deployed. Both reset before "upgrade"

    Slowly changing to W8.1 boxes.


  4. I also have a problem with my remote not working after the upgrade to 4.2.2

    I followed the instructions to download the right spi and upgrade files for the k60 remote and followed the instructions in the PDF file.

    Problem is when I use the upgrade app and go to local update it does not see the files on my SD card. I also tried a USB key but no luck.

    The instructions say of it doesn't see the files hit the .... button on the remote eight times.... problem is the remote won't work, so is there another way to do this update so I can get my remote working again!

    Is there a way to manually replace the spi file so the correct K60 file?

    Thanks in advance for any help you can offer

    Plug in usb keyboard?
