Wifi can not find any access points

I just picked up another ATV 582 and it will not find any wifi access points for me to connect too. Has anyone had this problem? Can anyone help me out to find a fix for this.

Probably not the issue, but when I got mine I didn't realize that I had the 2.4ghz band WiFi on my router turned off and was only broadcasting over 5ghz, which the MyGica can't detect.
