ATV1800E

I got my ATV1800 just few days ago from Amazon.

The functionality is content is great, unfortunately after week of usage the power supply died and it could not power up the unit. I borrowed a PS from a friend to unsure it indeed it is the PS.

The unit powered correctly, however after few hours the remote did not work any more. It could turn the unit on and off, however none of the other keys are working.

The serial number of the units is GV1800E15030301

Could you please help me out.

I did try using Sybu app from my iPhone.

It was working great, however after the issue with the remote it could not connect to it.

It could only turn it on and off. Same as the remote.

Hi,

I called technical support regarding my problem with the remote not working and they quickly told me to do a firmware upgrade or factory reset.

Obviously I tried, however it was obvious I cannot do it with out the remote since I have to scroll down.

Could someone please steer me in the right direction.

I did try that and I could use the ATV again. Unfortunately, last night the box stopped working.

It is stuck at the kit kat screen and it does not continue with the boot sequence.

I tried to hard reset it, however this did not work either. It goes to a black screen.

Please let me know what could be the cause and how to fix it.

Since I have not received a reply, I assume that there is no solution.

Next question is how can I trigger a warranty and get this unit replaced.
