full hd on kodi?!?

HI!

I cant get full HD rezolution on XBMC (kodi).

I put on mygica 520e

1) MyGica_4.2_atv400_20140616_KR34.zip

2) update_MyGica_4.2_20150209_KR34.zip

all went OK, thnx for great instructions.

Image below says it all:

on my TV rezolution is FULL HD, on KODI is HD...

how can I force KODI to display full HD???

You can't, unless you flash the 1080p kernel firmware, which is in beta .

And you can't expect the moderator jamesc to understand this, cos he himself has no idea what's the difference between a 720p and a 1080p kernel.

.......You cannot change this in XBMC because the Dual Cores are built on a 720P kernel, and that is what XBMC is recognizing

The current official 520e firmware is only running on a 720p kernel, meaning the OS itself executes instructions at 720p resolution.

It only scales up to 1080p at the output end to give the tv the impression that it's a full HD device.
