ATV 380 and KR301 compatibility?

I have the KR301 Air mouse. Works amazing on my ATV 1900. However, when I plug in the receiver into my ATV 380, it doesnt work at all.

I also have the KR 100 air mouse and the new air mouse that ships with the 1900, both work fine on my ATV 380, but not the 301.

Problem is I bought the 301 to make the 380 more easy to use for my wife and kids (the KR 100 is a bit tricky for non-tech crowd).

Any tips to get it working? I had my 380 on the beta firmware 5.0.2 and tried rolling back to the kitkat 4.4, and still the KR301 doesnt work.

I just bought a 380 and a KR301 on Boxing Day and don't have an issue. The only think I did was plugged in the remote dongle and then once the box booted pressed the back and OK button at the same time on the 301 and it started working...

On the 1900ac I didn't need to pair, it just worked out of the box... 380 needed pairing.
