sound loss after upgrade

when i bought the box oi came with upgrade 07/24/14 every time i try to upgrade i loose the sound . ive tried doing every upgrade 1 by 1 tried going from old to new upgrade none of them give me sound. 1 fireware provides and it 07/24/14 please if anyone knows a solution please let me know

if you go into msettings, there is an option (I forget exactly what it is) but a check box for dynamic sound detection - look for something like that.

M settings is what? more settings? if so under what tab?

I don't use the standard launcher, so msettings is an app in your app drawer. If you are using the standard launcher - then just settings so you get the page up that has network, display, etc. On one of those, there's an off/on switch for dynamic audio - turn it on.
