system does not respond when I use the remote

while watching movie it stopped several times and it is very slow I tried to log off but the remote does not respond so I unplugged and plug in again waited few minutes but the problem is still the same I have the home screen but I cant use the remote as it does not respond when I press any button the light in the remote is working please help..thanks

I was having the same issue. I unplugged the unit to reboot it and now I can not turn it on . Any suggestions?
