1800e 5.1 lolipop os update not working

Hi, i have been trying to update my 1800e to lolipop for two days now. i cant seem to find any information on how to do it.

i have downloaded the image and mounted the image on an sd card using win32diskmanager.  what am i doing wrong lol.

i called support and the guy said 5.1 does not work on 1800e, but i just bought one that had been updated in the store.

Your will find the information you are looking for in this thread.  The released 5.1 firmware works for both the 1800e and 1900.  In the thread is is a discussion about how to update using the img file.  

Let us know how 5.1 is working on your 1800e, I've not got around to updating mine yet and look forward to anything you have to say about it.

Thanks. had to use the .rar method. installing it on 582 now and then the 1800e.
