box crashed

I have had some issues with my box from day one. I updated the firmware and it was temp better until recently it started crashing. It would freeze and only unfreeze with a restart (unplug). So I decided to flash my box witha Linux build from geniatech, it worked until I turned their box off. Now it will not turn on, nor can I access the upgrade menu. ( holding the button on back while plugging in).

I have read about people fixingb this problem, but they are taking the box apart and using some kind of cable to do so. This is not an area I am willing to go into.

The box is in warranty, what are my options?
