Wifi signal low

Hi I have a 582 and this subject seem to be a popular one... Low wifi signal.... And so far I don't see any answers to it. The speed tester that comes with the unit is a joke, it work the first day then it crapped out fast!!! I downloaded Ookla and it confirms what everyone else it's saying that all other devices read 15.65 Mbps but my 582 MyGica is lucky to see 2.5 Mbps!!!!! Needless to say this sucks...... Any new insights...... I have the latest firmware as I just bought it a week ago???
