Hi Jessica, Can you please check to make sure the USB ports are working by plugging in another device, like a computer mouse? Assuming the USB ports are still working, when did you purchase this unit? The remote has a 60 day warranty on it. It may have been dropped a few times and loosened a soldering connection. If you're remote is out of warranty, come on by our Mississauga office, or check out amazon for an assortment of mygica remotes that will all work on your device. I recommend an "air" version of our remotes. If you want to save some money, there are several apps that will work, like "http://www.cetusplay.com/". You will need to use a mouse or a keyboard mouse combo like the logitech k-400 to assist in installing or navigating to where you need to get the other options to work.
