Live TV crashing XBMC and PVR repo empty?

Recommended Posts

Justin, I seen that complaint before but can't find reference to it.

The PVR repo is empty and if you enable Live TV the MyGica XBMC will crash.

Any plans to fix this?

Thanks

This was fixed already with the XBMC Mygica Edition 13.2 on the 11-05 firmware.

This has been tested by myself, and all of my testers.

OK, upgraded to latest 13.2 git20141015-1bf0a33 ?

I have no single pvr add on listed

Add-ons/Get Add ons/XBMC.org PVR Add ons/ empty

You try it under the disabled add on section?

They are all disabled, probably why you cannot find them

You have to enable to one you want.

Hi, I just purchased the ATV 585 yesterday and an external hard drive today and I too cannot enable Live TV because my new Android TV Box will freeze after I select Enable.

So after reading this post, my problem is that I do not see a "disabled add on section". All I see under Add-ons is:

Enabled Add-ons

Get Add-ons

Install from zip file

Search

Where can I find these disabled add-ons?

Thanks!

P.S. under System Info in Summary Information it says I am running XBMC 13.2 Git:20140817-0f3db05 (Compiled: Sept 16 2014)

It has been a few days now, did you get the PVR function working on the ATV 585 or did your's freeze as well when enabled? If this is not fixed soon, I will just return it to the store for a full refund while I am still able too.

Can you try installing Kodi. The Android ARM version.

See if you get same issues. You do not have to uninstall Gotham when you are installing Kodi.

I think the crashing might be an issue with the version of Gotham that is on your 585.

I am still trying to get the new Kodi downloaded through the web browser in the ATV 585 but I am having some issues. But I am going to have a computer expert come over and give it a try. Maybe he'll have better luck.

Your better off downloading it on your computer and then transferring it to a USB drive or SD card and loading it manually onto your 585
