This is Patch File that is supposed to fix the issue where your TV Screen is black after having your MyGica coming out of Standby mode, or you switched HDMI inputs on your TV and went back to the MyGica. This only seems to happen on certain brands of TV's You can install this manually through the Upgrade app. Please make sure to extract the IMG file from the zip folder I have put it into. If file does not appear, press the 3 lined context menu button 10+ times it should appear. **PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR ANDROID 4.4 ONLY** This will work for ATV 1800/582/380 Please report if it works or not in this exact thread. The remote will not work for IR remotes because this update is using a different IR Code And Ethernet does not work either, but will when we move to 5.1 instead.

Sorry I only speak and write english I have to look into why it went from 18MBPS down to 10MBPS If you want to translate this, just use Google Chrome, you can right click and it will translate the page for you to your language.

I understand where you are coming from. But there is a big difference between rooting your phone and third party add ons. There is nothing wrong with rooting your phone, it might just void your warranty, but there are really no legal issues in regards to this. But the main difference is it does not come with third party streaming sites which stream movies + tv shows + live tv channels. The issue about discussing it here is that our forum is to help with our products only. KODI does come installed on our box, but it is not our application and there are many uses for it but we just cannot talk about Third Party add ons that draw the line when it comes to being legal. Other brands like Minix and Gbox both don't allow KODI third party add on support, and they are in the exact same business as we are. Simply doing a google search for KODI Third Party add ons will lead you to a lot of the main sites that support this already. I am still looking into making a free for all section on this forum, just researching all of the legalities in regards to this, since it will be hosted on our site.

There are no firmware files for this device. I will double check for this though just to be sure, and re post here.

@FBN I will have to look this over with our team to see the best option for this. Since I have been seeing an increase in sites getting shutdown etc for Third Party add ons related to Kodi.

Justin You should setup a topic in the forums for support like this. Where only members help members and no support from the mods. Truly this will help your product. Someone buys a box, don't know what to do and then find no help here and they return it for a refund. Not good for business. FBN I will have to look into this. The issue is the information that is found would be found on our site, regardless of this coming from Mods or not.

This can be done, but would basically require hacking a Nexus Player or Nvidia Shield TV. To use the official Android TV OS, you have to be a certified device from Google. And they have only certified certain chipsets as well, such as Intel, Tegra, Broadcom and Qualcom so far, I might be missing a few. They have not certified AMlogic There are many things I like about Android TV OS, which is mainly all of the apps being made for TV's. But It has a lot of restrictions for Manufacturers, which is you must follow there instructions on what apps can be pre-loaded, cannot be rooted, among many other things. So there are pros and cons to using TV OS from Android.

Right now for S802/S812/S805 AmLogic chipsets, they are focusing mainly on 5.1 for there new S905/S912 Chipsets. They will then have an updated version of 5.1 for S802/S812/S805 with the proper Kernel, and I believe this will be there last SDK they will be releasing for these chipsets. But I have been told this wont come out till after development is finished on S905/S912 There is a 5.1 SDK available from AMLogic currently for S802/S812/S805, but it is just a beta version basically, since it is still using the same Kernel Version as 4.4.2. Which is 3.10.XX I have a few S905 Boxes right now, and it is using Android 5.1 with the latest Android Kernel of 3.14.XX Realistically, there is no point of moving to 5.1 if all of the updates/bug fixes etc are being done to the Kernel Version 3.14.xx. For now we are sticking to 4.4.2 for S802/S805 Devices and Android 5.0.2 For S812 which is being used on the 1900AC If you wish to use 5.0.2, you can on S802 Devices such as the 582/380/1800 just by installing the 1900AC FW. I know I have mentioned Lollipop update for awhile now, but this is only way I can offer it to everyone now.

Actually I figured out after that this current Netflix TV APK is meant for Android 5.1 or higher. I tried it on a device of mine that has 5.1, it did install but when I open it I get the message "Your device is not compatible" which means they use device verification.

For Lollipop update on 1800/582/380 I will post up the 1900 FW so you can manual upgrade to Android 5.0.2 We will have a 4.4.2 OTA update for those 3 models soon though, we are starting the 1900 first, then 586, then 1800/582/380 I don't have an exact date yet, but 1900 OTA update should take 2-3 days, same with 586. So this will give you an idea of the timeline for an OTA Update for 1800/582/380
