EW BETA FIRMWARE IMG FILE FOR ATV 1800/1800E/582/380. This is BETA right now, official version will follow with new Kernel update. A new file will follow this one, which will have a new AMLogic Kernel along with some other fixes + changes. Updated Firmware as of July 28th, 2015. **THIS WILL FACTORY RESET YOUR BOX** Here is a list of the changes that have been added and made: 1. Play Store issue is fixed, more changes have been made. Yes this will be sufficient enough.

We are also working on providing OPENELEC Support for the 1800E/582/380 At first will be offered as a standalone OS, so no Android. And then we will also provide a dual boot option with Android and Openelec. Should be available very soon.

I am posting up a new firmware sometime this week hopefully. Will fix the nasty Playstore issues some of you are still having Just working out a few more issues on what I received on Fri.

I have tried 6+ Hours of Video on Netflix using this firmware, with zero Audio Sync issues. I have been trying to reproduce this issue, but I cannot. I will try this on more units here to see if I can reproduce this Is this happening on all videos that are being watched? Or just some?

We do not have an OTA Update available right now for any models. You must install manually. And we are still not able to provide External USB Bluetooth support as AMLogic has not provided this to us at all.

Are you able to take a Video capture of this or at least a good video with a camera? As I cannot reproduce this issue on any unit here. I have tested Netflix for many many hours Let me know Thanks

We have another firmware update coming within the next 10 days. Will update all of the pre installed apps, plus should overcome the Play Store issues some of you are still having, along with the apps giving issues as well due to the play store problems. We are still on Android 4.4 for those of you that have been asking on this thread. Android 5.0.2 is not available yet, only on the 1900AC. I am not sure of the release date yet for it on the rest of our Quad Core models.

And relaying all of it, I know this has been frustrating for everyone including myself. I will keep updating the firmware till we get everything right. I am focusing more just on Firmware fixes/changes and going over everyone's feedback for the time being, as I am involved in many on going projects right now. Mark and James will be handling all of the tech support questions throughout the forum for now, I will be adding a few more Mods for this as well. KODI 15 fixes a lot of stuff, mainly moving up to Directx 11, which is a big thing, it also adds auto refresh rate switching for Android, and you should now also be able to keep your add ons and user data for each new updated version of KODI 15 for Android also. A lot of great info can be found here http://kodi.tv/kodi-15-0-isengard-beta-2/ Trying to work through a lot of changes to the UI and also weeding out bugs on Android 5, to make it a stable release. Also in regards to James. He is Canadian guys, he works in our office in Mississauga. Just wanted to clarify that, for those thinking he was in China. Files have been looked at. Should be able to make the changes needed to make it work on next FW I will manually upload this FW to the forum when available, but we should be offering it as a OTA update also. We always try to stay on track with AMlogics latest SDKs and Kernel updates. However a lot of times on new ones they create, if we switch to it, they will factory reset the box on people, which we have been trying to avoid.

Are you a dealer of ours? Sorry but I do not sell retail, I only work with dealers, and handle tech support. Where did you purchase the unit from? Was it online or In Store?

Just by going into the settings menu, and other You will see a Build #, that build # has a date in it. Our current FW for the ATV 1800E is 0321

We have a 1-855 # Setup for Tech Support The Phone Lines are open from 9AM to 7PM Eastern Standard Time 1-855-694-4228 Option #2 is for Support Please note we do not assist with Third Party Apps though We will have a new firmware out to address issues very soon. However if you are having issues with certain apps not providing you with movies, we cannot assist with that.....

20150321 FW is exactly what I posted on March 31st. This is just date stamped from our engineers on that day, I received it on the 28th, and posted it up for download on the 31st. So yes an OTA Update will work on the 20150321 FW

Hello Everyone Sorry for being absent over the past month. I have had many other things that required my attention in relation to MyGica, and I did have some new Mods come on board to help with everything during this time and also in the future. I have been out of the office away on business all over for the last month, but will be shifting my focus back to support MyGica fully on a retail level. However I am sorry that I have neglected an update to the Firmware that was posted by me on March 31st. I have now made this my #1 priority right now until we can push out an OTA update to fix all of the common issues that everyone is having. Such as Play Store, Installing Apps, moving to Kodi 14.2, Blank Screen Issues etc I have arranged a mandatory meeting tonight with our engineers, and will get all of the patch files for each fix that I have been given compiled into a new FW Update. Once again guys, very sorry about my absence, I will get this all fixed ASAP Thanks Justin
