  4. In the local update part of the upgrade app. Hit the 3 lined context menu button on the remote 10+ times. The IMG file will appear.
  5. Today I had to hook up one atv1200 via composite video mode and the picture quality is barely acceptable, small letters on screen are almost illegible... I set the box in Android from default 480 to 576 (or something like that, only two choices there) and didn't see much improvement. Now I am wondering if the tv also needs to select that 576 mode in its setting to meet the atv box halfway? Does it make sense? The tv I was trying the composite video on is set to 720p I think. Its an older tv with HDMI inputs but I need to setup atv1200 for another tv that only has component, composite and s-video inputs where the last two are out as per justin's answer and there being no s-video out For North America we use 480 for RCA/Composite on TV's. 576 is for PAL TVs in Europe and other parts of the world. 720P can only be used on Component or HDMI
  6. We have the sections for files separated into Android 4.1 and 4.2 in our downloads section. We also put a warning in big red letters at the top of the new file page to not use it if you are running Android 4.1 Sorry if you bricked the box, but the warnings are there.
  7. Which firmware did you download and install exactly? As we have 2 versions for 2 different remotes, you might have installed the wrong one.
  8. Only Android 4.1 supports Component Video. We cannot make it work on any version of Android above 4.1
  9. Can you explain what has become slow about it? Like loading menus, add ons etc?
  10. I use this https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .pro&hl=en Works for me
  11. Hiya. Took a risk and tried it. Initially it didn't work and all I got was a red light and nothing working. However, after following these instructions here (http://www.mygica.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1631) I got it working just fine. However - there seems to be no option to move any programs to the external sdcard, which kinda renders the point of it useless. You can't even format it - just mount or unmount it - in the options. Anyway around this problem? Thanks Craig Miller-George Sorry did you want to move app to your external sd card?
  12. Good to hear it is running great for everyone so far. As for the latest file with KODI. If you are using Android 4.1 you CANNOT USE THIS FILE. If you install this file, it will brick your box. You must first do this. viewtopic.php?f=77&t=1945 and then you can install the latest 4.2 file with KODI. I will try to put together 4.1 to 4.2 upgrade files which include this latest update, so basically you will only need to do 1 step instead of 2.
  13. Did you do the 4.1 to 4.2 upgrade? Or the new firmware file for 4.2? What OS were you on before you took this update?
  14. Hi guys The file just needs to be extracted from the Zip file. There is a IMG file within the zip file. Sorry but our forum only allows us to upload certain formats. So all you need to do is just extract the IMG file and put it onto the root of your SD card. Hope this clarifies everything. Thanks
  15. I responded to your post in another thread, as you posted this twice. viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2433&start=20

  17. We currently use this for Air Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .airplayer There version of Airpin Pro supports Air Play though for IOS 8 devices, its just $4.50 to buy it though. On both Dual Cores and Quads But they have not updated it yet for IOS 8 Which is why we are moving to a new solution on our Quad Cores for Air Play and Mirroring on IOS Devices. Hope to release it within the next month.
  18. Ok We are unable to support external USB bluetooth adapters on Android 4.2 and up.
  19. We cannot support external Bluetooth Adapters on 4.2 as this is something AMlogic is supposed to fix, but hasnt yet. I am not sure if and when they will fix this either. You sure it is a Bluetooth adapter your using though for your keyboard? Since most external keyboards use 2.4GHZ USB adapters, which do not require bluetooth.
  20. Sorry I got confused on the Nav Bar in our Quad Cores as being removed when in XBMC. It still shows on 4.2 for Dual Cores. And the swipe down from the top only works inside apps, not in the launcher.
  21. Here it is from my Dropbox account https://www.dropbox.com/s/hct0ytl3p81az ... 1.zip?dl=0 Should be much quicker
  22. All of the changes you have mentioned, are native to Android. If your using a mouse, you can swipe down the top left corner and this will show you the download notifications. If you upgrade to XBMC 13.2 it should remove the Nav bar. As for downloads folder, never noticed this before. But using file manager should be sufficient enough.
  23. I cannot guarantee that this will work. As your unit may be using a different IR Remote. Also your firmware might require something different because of the internal hard drive.
