4.2 Upgrade requires an SD Card only
-
1080P-24HZ Playback is not possible on our Dual Core Models. This feature will be added to our Quad Core models.
-
It is very rare that I have seen apps not being compatible with our box, only if they are not compatible with the Higher versions of Android.
-
Sorry you feel this way. Not sure why you think the 4.2 upgrade just bricks the box, as this is not the case. We have upgraded 1000s of Mygicas to 4.2 from our office and have not bricked one unit yet.

No I do not, I work out of Mississauga. And to PM, just click on the end users name, and it will take you to there user profile, with an option to PM them.

MyGica ATV1200 latest firmware
Justin replied to admin1477960187's topic in ATV 1200 Firmware Files for Android 4.1
Hardware acceleration is usually app related If you want to test video playback I would suggest using MX Video Player, since you can turn on/off Hardware acceleration easily with this app. -
MyGica ATV1200 latest firmware

Why would you want to do that? -
Contact this company http://www.worldwidesatellites.com They can help you with the warranty. They are located in Mississauga

External USB Bluetooth adapters are currently not support on Android 4.2 or higher. And there was never Bluetooth built into the ATV 1200. We must wait for Amlogic to fix this issue.
-
Can you please explain more as to why it did not work?
-
Go here http://mygica.com/html/Support/ Look for ATV 1200, and choose the 2nd option which is firmware It will download a zip file with 2 PDF documents. Make sure the picture of the remote control in the PDF document, matches the one that you are using for your box, and then download the files for this within the PDF document.
-
Where did you get the firmware from? You must have loaded the KR34 file. Let me know and I will post link on where to get KR60 remote firmware for the 1200.
-
It is just beta firmware. So mainly just a stock Android OS. You will need to install a lot of the APK's yourself.
-
AMLogic is working on this, as there seems to be a restriction in Android 4.2 and up, which is not allowing external Bluetooth Adapters to be used. Not sure the time frame on this though. Once I know, I will let everyone know.

Nice suggestion Thanks

-
I will inquire about this. However nothing has been mentioned to me in regards to a 4.2 upgrade for the ATV120 stick.
-
No changes being made to the 1080P kernel anytime soon for the Dual Cores from what I have been told.
