You using wifi or ethernet to your box? And which version of XBMC are you using? Also the 1080P kernel is just a beta file, so it is not perfect.

Hi Yes Firmware for ATV 1200 and ATV1220-T are 2 different firmwares. The ATV-1220T has the DVB-T tuner pre installed into the box, so therefore requires different firmware for it. However it is based on the ATV 1200 motherboard, so that is probably why the upgrade worked for you. Sorry but we do not carry the ATV 1220T model in North America, as it does not work for us here, as we use ATSC Please send an email to our partner in china, support@mygica.com and they will assist you with providing you with the latest firmware files for the ATV 1220T so you can get it working for what you purchased it for.

Well you will have to upgrade to 4.2 first before you can take any future 4.2 firmware files we release. As we are not releasing any new updates with all the files to upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2. I have some beta files right now for a new firmware file for 4.2, but nothings final, as there are still some things to change/add. So therefore I cannot give any dates right now

Flash is supported by our browser. So just use the pre installed browser which comes with 4.2.2, and flash will work. Please note that after 4.2, Flash is no longer supported since they have pulled all flash support for preety much all Operating systems that are mobile/tablet based.

You need to find the revert to android files first, before you can go to 4.2 upgrade. I had this problem myself when I was testing Linux Gotham version myself. I will try and find them on my PC, and upload them for you to use.

Here you go Just extract it from the zip file. And you can load it onto your using a SD card or USB drive. You will have to uninstall the version you have on there right now, and make sure to have auto update apps turned off in your Play Store account, otherwise the latest netflix app from the Play Store will update over this one com.netflix.mediaclient.zip

Flash is built into the web browser already.

Preety much all of the bugs you just listed were updated and fixed on 4.2. The netflix app was not something we did, we are just using an older version of the netflix app which we have found works best with an IR remote, however if you happen to take an update to the latest one available in the play store, then you will no longer have good use of the IR remote.

Sorry that you feel this way . However we have had the discussion with the factory and its engineers prior to releasing the 4.2 upgrade on our dual core models, and there was no way to make component video work. Our new batches of ATV 1200 coming in the fall will no longer have component video on them. Can you let me know which bugs you were experiencing on 4.1? So maybe I can go to the engineers to ask for a fix. Let me know

Sorry but we do not have plans to upgrade 4.1 files, as we have made the recent upgrade to 4.2 and will be working with this version of Android. And we cannot make component video work, as 4.2 will not support it.

You can do DTS and DD audio using HDMI using XBMC, since XBMC software decodes these audio codecs, the ATV 1200 does not hardware support DTS or DD through HDMI. You might have to change the audio settings within XBMC to make sure SPDIF works for both DTS and DD. I am not sure why you are having the issues with You Tube, Can you try You Tube within the built in web browser and see if you get the same results
