  1. Ok I am not sure why its not upgrading for you. Can you try a different SD card? Also try re downloading the files we have posted on our site.
  2. Sorry but what I mean, if you were to just normally turn on the box, by plugging in the power, without your SD card inserted into the box. What is the logo that you first see on your TV screen, the Android Robot logo, or the Mygica Logo?
  3. May I ask that when you first plug in the box for power, and it boots up, this is without the SD card installed on your box. What is the first logo that you see on your screen, is it the Android Robot logo, or the Mygica logo?
  4. All files must be on the root of the SD card, with no other files on the SD card Make sure your SD card is formatted to FAT32, as it sounds like this is the reason why your box is not detecting the SD card
  5. The android tv remote and chromecast receiver apps are for the new Android 5.0 TV Platform. Right now those apps can only be used on Google ADT-1 Development boxes, which only developers and anyone who attended googles I/O conference last week have access to.
  6. RCA Still works, so the audio outputs should work as well However I am not sure if both HDMI and RCA will work at the same time
  7. Yes 4.2 is the latest firmware we have available. We will have a new update out within the next week.
  8. Just tried link on an ATV 1200 using a 6MB Download internet connection, and worked no problem, and did this while on Wifi. I am not sure why you are experiencing this problem, I tried looking into the settings and there is no where to activate hardware accelleration for You Tube, so I think its just built right into the app.
  9. No you are using Android 4.1.2 and are on the Firmware file from 08/05/13 You can find the latest ATV 1200 files for 4.1 from here http://www.mygica.com/down-eng/ATV1200.zip You do not need to rename them to .IMG, as this has been done fo you
  10. I just tried a HD video here with no problems on the You tube app, so I am unsure as to why your experiencing these problems, we only have a 6MB connection at our office as well. Maybe try uninstalling and re installing the You tube app, see if that helps.
  11. Does the video play in slow motion? Or is there a lot of buffering?
  12. We have not seen the 520E come with 4.2 pre installed yet, so you must have 4.1 installed. If you want to make sure, go into the settings menu, and go down to "About Device" It will tell you the Android OS version, which will be 4.1.2 or 4.2.2. Here is the download link for the latest 520E files. You will not need to rename the file extensions, as this has been done for you. http://www.mygica.com/down-eng/ATV520E.zip For the AM Logic 8726 Dual Core chipset, 4.4 is something they are working on, not sure the release date for this though, so for now the latest Android we have is 4.2.2.
  13. When we were making changes to 4.2 before we released it, Remote IME is one of the things we made sure worked. I am not sure which version you are using, however the latest version is available in the Play Store https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... eIME&hl=en If you cannot find this on your Play store, try typing into your search bar "Fustec", you should be able to find it with this search term. As for turning off the box, you can either click the power button once to turn it off, or you can hold down the power button and it will give you the option to turn off or reboot the box. As for the noise you are hearing, this is something thats not normal, and the first I am hearing about this issue. If it continues I would suggest trying to get it replaced by your reseller under warranty.
  14. Here is the how to video on how to update to 4.2.2 for ATV520E The same files for the ATV 400 and 1200 that I have posted work for the 520E. I will make a 520E post soon with more info, but for now if you want to give it a try you can, if not you can wait for my post.
  15. If you are doing firmware file upgrades, you can only use the APP "Upgrade" for this, and only an SD card is recognized when using that APP
  16. Only an SD card works for this update. In the settings menu, go to "About Device" If you are using 4.2, then you must go to the More settings menu to look at "About Device"
  17. An OS upgrade change must be done manually by the end user
  18. Sorry but we currently do not have a way to revert back to 4.1
  19. The ATV 1200 only supports external Bluetooth adapters, and does not have Bluetooth built in, so therefore is the reason why you could not located any BT devices. Answer to Problem 1: It is listed in the update instructions that Component Video will no longer work with this update, sorry about this, but component video can no longer be supported on 4.2 and up. Answer to Problem 2: We will be re-adding the Bluetooth menu on our next update Answer to Problem 3: Not sure the reason why the model # changed in the settings menu, however this will not affect your box. The date and time is detected based on an Internet connection being established, since the Date and Time setting is defaulted to Automatic, you can change it to manual, and change the Timezone and Date setting in the settings menu.
  20. Only an SD card will work for this upgrade. It will not detect USB with the upgrade files on it.
  21. Im sorry but is this something you need me to have looked at?
