Miracast - how to get it to work

Hi:

I am new to this and slowly working through all the options this great box offers.

I cannot get Miracast to work though.

I am trying to pair the 1800e box with a new Blackberry Passport phone which definitely has Miracast built in.

Yes, I have the "Airplay/DLNA" app loaded (Lite version was preloaded). When I go to my phone's display settings and try to activate Miracast, it keeps searching with no result.

What am I missing?

You must use the Miracast app on your 1800, not the Airplay app

I have a Blackberry Classic and I have tested Miracasting on a 1800, it works.
