Updating kodi

Hi all- newbie question- I ha e been looking through forums and to update kodi on my Gica 380/520 is it just a firmware update via isn or is there a separate procedure for Xbmc/kodi? Been looking but can't seem to find instructions..... Any help is greatly appreciated

We have firmware update for ATV 520E which includes KODI. But you must be running Android 4.2 to take this update
