Ethernet speeds much different

I am operating a MyGica 1200 but was concerned that I could not play any HD quality TV shows without immediate buffering issues.

I have the box connected to an ethernet cable, which is feeding through a powerline adapter.

The powerline adapter works great for my PC. I regularly get download speeds of 75 Mb per second. But when I plug the same cable into the MyGica 1200 I can only achieve averages of 11 Mb per second. If I disconnect the ethernet cable and turn on Wi-Fi, I can average 26 Mb per second.

Is this box not able to process full ethernet capabilities? Or should I be looking in the settings for something that I am missing?
