atv520e after latest upgrade, kodi wont run

Kodi will run for a little while, then when you bit the kodi icon, it starts like the first time, then goes back to the mygica home page. Alot of people i know are having this problem. Is it the unit? Any suggestions.

yes backup your system, and uninstall your kodi and re-install, just in-case didn't work then you can perform total factory reset on your box and then install kodi
