Global Go app fails with rooted device error

Hi All,

I am new to the whole world of these devices. I am trying to set the MyGica ATV582 up for my wife to use to watch a Global TV soap opera.

The app gives the following error:

"The content playback policy requires a hardware capability that the device does not have. We cannot stream video to rooted or unsupported devices. Error 3347"

The first time I tried this I got through the 30 seconds of commercial and the show started playing with very good quality - then this error popped up - what a drag.

Any fix?

I saw threads about un-rooting - is that a possible fix?

i somehow missed your post ... i posted almost the same thing next day ... sorry about that everyone

tried changing the user agent string in the web browser ... no go

tried firefox and chrome ... no go

tried "rootcloak plus" ... no go

does anyone out there know how a rooted device is discovered by the service provider?

Try xposed with rootcloak.
