Video input shuts down after a couple of minutes

I have just purchased two ATV 585 boxes and have hooked them up, I am having trouble with one that will lose video and audio after a few minutes. I have tried recycling the power on both the box and the TV. I have tried several methods of faultfinding and have discovered that if I remove the HDMI cable form the TV and plug it back in the video comes back and audio comes back after a few seconds. It works again for a couple of minutes and the I lose video and audio again. I also cannot change video input selection to the TV when the box is plugged into the HDMI port. This only happens with one TV the other box seems to be fine.

The TV that is affected is a Toshiba 26AV52R

under settings and TV settings please turn off auto detect and chose only 1080P
