ATV380 update based on kernel or build?????

Hi everyone...........after several Google hours,,,,,confusion gets worse..... the update is for 20141105 or new firmware but i have 3 different dates .

this is my info in About device ( ATV380 Canada computers model )....

so......can I go with the official atv582/380 update or better stay away and enjoy this baby as came out of the box??

I will appreciate some info.....my old atv520e is currently bricked and on the way to replacement warranty ( jejeje 15 bucks for 3 years ).

I have the exact same box as you (Canada Computers, Boxing Day special $99) and had an older build on it than Mar 21. If I remember it was an older build like Aug 2014 or such. I had to update to Nov 05 (like you have, v002mb801_20141105) and then to Mar 21. I updated it, took a bit to update Kodi but everything works well now.

And what is a jejeje? I think I heard Oprah talk about that once. Something about the jejeje monologues...

Thanks a lot WJW .....now working on the update Mar 21. After that I will play with my old and cheap usb dongle (chinese no mark) that worked very well on the atv520e. I will post full info and pics of the usb dongle.

(jejeje means... laughing about those incredible replacement warranties that allows you to play and brick without worries)
