ATV Android 5.0 Update???

When would the update for the ATV1800e be available where the user interface for apps like netflix would allow the use of a normal remote?

The way it is now, This tv box is pretty annoying....

The OTT providers are prepared, downloaded and try to run HBO now on my 1900. It navigated perfectly until I hit play

Sling tv was 99% on navigating with remote. Netflix browse worked good, but had to use mouse feature for a show series.
