New 1800e stuck in recovery after update

Hi Everyone

I have a new 1800e. About a week old. While I was watching a program a dialog box popped up asking to apply an update. I confirmed. The machine then complained about not having an SD Card. I said Cancel. The machine rebooted, with a funny android character on screen for a bit, and then it went to recovery. It gave the option to reboot. I did a couple of times, but each time it went into recovery again. I then tried a "wipe data/factory reset" thinking I haven't done anything on this machine yet. The factory reset formatted a couple of things, but I still boot into recovery.

Whats next?

Re-install? How do I do that?
