BiffC 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2015 Hello all, I am not exactly sure when it happened but my 582 does not connect via Ethernet anymore. I get a message telling me to connect a cable to my router when there is already one. I have checked the connection, I have tried different cables. Luckily the Wifi still works but I would rather use Ethernet. I have the latest update to firmware. Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated. tarabostes 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2015 Which firmware version are you guys using? Are you using the latest official firmware or a beta? Can you guys try a factory reset and test again and see if it makes any difference? Which update brought this behavior? The latest OTA? Can you try going back a version and see if the issue happens again? My 380's LAN connection works fine with the latest OTA. I have a bug where the LAN LED doesn't turn off in stan-by but I guess that's specific to the 380 model (as I had this issue in the past with another beta firmware). jpmccarthy 2 Report post Posted August 20, 2015 I did have this problem - did absolutely nothing to the box, but it works for me now (except for the previously document LED light issue).
Justin 206 Report post Posted August 20, 2015 If you guys switch back to previous firmware do you still get this issue? We run all of our display boxes in the office on Ethernet. + I use a 582 and 1800 at home on ethernet and I did not get this problem and I am running 07/21 firmware.
