multitasking

on my old android 4.4 tv box I can edit /system/usr/keylayout/Vendor_XXXXXXX.kl to match a scancode to APP_SWITCH and program my remote to send that scancode...

But with this firmware APP_SWITCH doesn't work... And I can't find the multitasking feature in settings... is it disabled? APP_SWITCH keycode doesn't work???

Since we moved in OS 5.0 aka Lollipop few things did change

and one of them is APP_SWITCH

till now we have not able to remove or enable Multitasking, in a way Google wanted to halt the background apps and not let it run that way we have more resource for current app we are playing with.. again this is a info came down from forums!...

but honestly, we are looking for way to make this run too, we can escalate this to our Dev team but can not say if its going to be able to turn on...

thanks for your answer James... It would be cool if dev team could enable app_switch keycode, or at least to enable multitasking feature from Lollipop settings... Now you need to press a bit more keys from remote to do the same action...
