Hi all.. I had the box for 4 days now and after a freeze and a reboot (unplug power) the screen that comes after the lollipop logo is all malformed with artifacts can't recognize any letters or forms. The lollipop logo appears crystal clear. I have performed a reset (plug in while holding reset button): same behaviour. Checked HDMI cable, removed remote dongle... Nothing same behaviour. Should I return the unit?

Sorry your post is a little confusing, you say the Lollipop logo is malformed, and then say it is crystal clear upon bootup.

Is your box stuck on this logo? And wont go past it?
