NO AUDIO

Hey anyone else getting no Audio?

I have connected it via the Optical cable and i have no sound, no light running through the cable either..

can anyone confirm??

If the ATV1900 is anything like the ATV1800, then you have to turn it on in the settings, it is not always on. I'm at work and can't remember well enough to tell you where to look for it, as I recall it is labelled as SPDIF and you have to change it to SPDIF passthrough from HDMI. The 1800 will not let you have audio coming out of both the HDMI and SPDIF simultaneously, maybe the same for the 1900?

Ok I think I remember it being in the Advanced portion of the settings, near the bottom. Hopefully it is the same for the 1900.

You have to change the audio setting to SPDIF, this will turn on the optical audio output
