Using a USB Hub

Hope this is the correct area to post - can anyone let me know if a 582 will support an external USB hum with six ports (powered from a.c. or powered from internal USB port) and if so will it recognise various HDD's and other "toys" such as remote mouse etc. Don't want to risk it in case it pops the internal port.

I don't know if the amount of port matter but I have a 4 port running on my 582 with no issues. Mine as an external power supply.

Thx "gica4ever" - hooked one up with external psu and can now see the remote, external mouse, memory stick and external hard drive:)
