frozen on home screen

We recently got this unit 4 weeks ago and was working well. Last time we turned it on it wanted to download an update to the box programming. When we tried to hit yes, the remote wasn't working. I did replace the battery and it it worked fine and proceeded to download the update.

Once the update was complete, it went back to the home screen where it seems to be frozen (I know the remote battery is good). I can't get it to move off the highlighted "APP". I have shut it down and restarted but nothing....

Any thoughts?

Got it fixed.

I had to pair the remote again.
